Mastering of any mix can be very simple if the right balance of loudness and frequency is found for mixing. Each instrument in the mix must occupy its right place!

The golden rule is to bring the mix down to six decibels. Further, the classical version of the mastering chain consists of a compressor-equalizer and a limiter.

Compressors determine macro-dynamics of the sound. Compression helps to make the sound fuller while the mix becomes denser and more uniform.

The final equalization can single out some frequencies in your mix for lighting up all your instruments. The main rule of mix equalization during mastering reads: the less the better.

Electronic dance music works on repetition. A loop runs, a layer arrives, a layer drops out, and the floor answers. That mechanic took the music from Chicago basements and Detroit warehouses to main stages, and it survives because the test is simple: either people move or they stop.

We release house, techno, electro and bass. House brings the groove, techno the pressure, electro the edges, bass the weight. Across all of it we look for one thing: a producer who can carry a single idea for six minutes without running out of ideas.

Almost every record we sign arrives as a demo from a name nobody knows yet. We prefer it that way. A finished track speaks for itself, and taste is easier to hear than a biography.
